Following my Heart !!!
Surely most of us have heard the old adage "choose for your work something you love and you will never work a day in your life". This small but powerful bit of wisdom sums up my feelings about my little art business which grows steadily with each passing day! I sincerely feel that my art reflects this absolute joy I experience in creating these art pieces and I feel very grateful that there is a market and an opportunity to share something so dear to my heart with the rest of the world!
For me, art has been a part of my life for as far back as I can remember. The same way that I do not remember learning to walk or talk, my artistic abilities seem to have just been always there, a natural part of who I have always been. My father was a lawyer by profession, but in his heart he was an artist, and I shared with the world through an artist's eye. I would take my sister and me on outings to the Baltimore Museum of Art and again, art was just a natural part of life. He encouraged me to do the endless sketches, he told me to always keep sketching, not worrying about the outcome, providing me with oil and watercolor paints, canvases, and lots of sketch paper !!More news: We found love - E se mi toccasse scegliere, sceglierei te per ...

A country girl at heart, I live with my family in a rural area surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Harford County, Maryland. I am a hobby gardener as well, all a great inspiration which is evident in my work. One of my favorite things is to grow giant sunflowers in my backyard garden, a common theme in my art!
Also evident in my work are Greek themes. We are a Greek American family and we are quite immersed in Greek culture through our faith and involvement in our Greek Orthodox Church.
Another thing that brings me a good deal of joy is making my customers' ideas become a reality, I love custom orders, even have painted on items provided by customers. There are absolutely no limits to the imagination, and to me, this is what makes art such a wonderful experience, so if you have an idea in mind, please do not hesitate to contact me about a custom order!
In conclusion I would like to sincerely thank you for taking the time to visit and browse my Etsy shop and for reading this little glimpse into my world and learning a little more about me and my art!
